Malaysian students in the UK making their voices heard

CEKU was founded by a bunch of Malaysian students studying in the UK wanting to make voices heard. CEKU will not only serve as a platform for issues to be discussed, but at the same time the CEKU team will be covering all sorts of events and talks that take place in the UK.

As of now, that arrangement may seem a bit UK-centric, but we surely hope to expand beyond the the British Isles. We invite writers from all over the world who have a view to share or a reporting about a certain event. Already we have some from back home on board with us, and also one or two in the States.

  1. Compulsory government service for newly qualified pharmacists.

Being a privately funded student, it does not make any sense at all that we have to serve the government for three long years compulsory service. This discourage oversea students to go back to work no matter how much they like malaysia.

Do you think it is necessary for this three years compulsory service? I am sure that lots of students would not go back for this three years service. (with little pay)

Any opinions about how pharmacy would evolve in malaysia?
